Working Together
Working together should feel clear, calm, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.
I take on a small number of projects each year, on purpose. That means your project gets my full attention, not a version of it divided across twenty other jobs. It also means I am selective about the work I take on. The best results come from the right fit, and I would rather have that conversation early.
I do not design in one signature look. Some clients love quiet, layered neutrals. Others want color, pattern, and something unexpected. My job is to listen closely enough that the result feels like you, with depth, proportion, and warmth underneath.
"I had never done a renovation before, and I was really nervous. Julie made the design process so easy and fun. She was able to integrate our treasured family antiques in a way that gave us the fresh, contemporary feel we wanted."

Here is what working together actually looks like.
We start with a conversation, usually by phone or video. You tell me what you are thinking, and I ask a lot of questions. If it feels promising, we schedule an in-person visit so I can see the space, understand the scope, and give you an honest picture of what the project needs.
From there, projects are structured with a clear scope and a flat design fee. You know what you are committing to before anything starts. No surprises, no open-ended billing.
I stay closely involved from the first plan to the final installation. You will always know where things stand and what comes next. Decisions are guided, not dumped on you. And when something unexpected comes up, which sometimes it does, we handle it calmly and move forward.
If this sounds like what you have been looking for, reach out. Tell me a little about your project and your timeline. I review every inquiry personally.
