Full Service Design
Start to finish. Every detail.
This is for the client who wants the full experience. Not just a design plan, but a designer who leads the entire project from beginning to end and makes sure it all lands the way it should.
I handle everything. Space planning, material and finish selections, furnishings, lighting, custom pieces, procurement, coordination with your contractors and trades, delivery, and final installation. You are involved in every decision that matters. Everything else is handled.
My full-service clients tend to be busy people who value their time and want the experience to be enjoyable. They have often waited a long time to do this right. They want someone they can trust to lead.
“A year later, I still walk into my kitchen and can't believe it's mine. Julie didn't just make it look good. She made it work for our actual lives. That's rarer than you'd think.”
— Anita, Atherton

How projects are structured.
Every project is different, and I do not quote a fee until I actually understand yours. That means an in-person meeting, a walkthrough of your space, and a real conversation about what you want to accomplish. Bring your floor plan, any photos, and anything that helps paint the picture. The more I understand the scope and complexity upfront, the more honest I can be about what the project needs and what it will cost.
Once I have a clear picture, I put together a flat design fee. No open-ended hourly billing and no surprises. You know what you are committing to before we begin.
I work with a trusted network of vendors, trades, and workrooms built over years. That network is part of what you are getting.
Why it is worth it.
The wrong sofa that does not fit through the door. The rug that looked perfect online, but kills the room. The contractor who needed a decision two weeks ago, and nobody told you. These are not hypotheticals. They happen on almost every project without proper design guidance.
Full-service design is protection for your investment, your time, and the home you have been imagining. The cost of getting it wrong almost always exceeds the cost of getting it right.
“I had never done a renovation before, and I was really nervous. Julie made the design process so easy and fun. She integrated our treasured family antiques in a way that gave us the fresh, contemporary feel we wanted.”
—Michelle C., East Bay
